Happy Valentine's Day

Here are directions for a 
Sweet Little Heart!

Directions will make one heart,

they are so fun to make you 
will want to make more!

you will need a variety of 
2" red strips, 
and a 3 1/2" strip

of background fabric.

Red Fabrics

you will need one 2" square

two - 2" X 3 1/2" rectangle

one - 2"X 5" rectangle

Background Fabric

one - 2" square

one - 2 1/2" square

one - 3 1/2" square

Sew a 2" red square 
to a 2" background square

sew a 2" X 3 1/2" red rectangle
 to your set of

 red and light 2" squares

now sew another 2" X 3 1/2" 
rectangle to opposite side

back to other side sew a 2" X 5" rectangle.

cut off about an inch from each side

should measure about 5 1/2"

From your 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" squares 

cut once diagonally from corner to corner

sew the small triangles to the sides of 

the top of the heart and large triangles to 

the sides of the bottom of heart.

square up your heart!

side to side 5 1/2", 

top to bottom 5 3/4"

This can vary a little depending 

on your 1/4" seam allowance.
